About The Position

The CORE Institute Specialty Hospital is hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist specializing in MRI and CT. The role involves performing radiology examinations, providing patient education and professional customer service, maintaining infection control and confidentiality standards, operating and maintaining equipment, supporting quality assurance processes, and assisting the Radiologist with arthrogram procedures.

Requirements

• Completion of an associate's program in Radiologic Technology or certification from a credentialed radiology school.
• ARRT certification.
• At least one year of previous experience.
• Current state and ARRT licensure.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Correctly identify patients and their corresponding exams.
• Obtain and document patient history.
• Use proper positioning, radiographic techniques, and cassette screen/grid combinations to ensure high-quality examinations.
• Practice standard precautions and maintain infection control standards.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and related information.
• Operate equipment properly.
• Clean equipment and stock supplies as needed.
• Provide cooperative, positive, and professional patient care and customer service.
• Maintain complete confidentiality of medical, financial, employee, computer, and other sensitive information.
• Perform and support quality assurance/CQI programs and processes.
• Demonstrate commitment to organizational goals.
• Attend mandatory in-services and training.
• Assist the Radiologist with arthrogram procedures.
• Demonstrate appropriate sterile procedure skills.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
