About The Position

The Radiology Technologist independently performs diagnostic radiographic procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. This role operates within their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure for medication administration, equipment operation, and venipuncture. The technologist is responsible for coordinating patient flow and activities within the Radiology Department, exercising professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition. There may be opportunities to perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs and the position may include on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology.
• CPR Certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ARRT RT (R) registry required.
• ODH licensure required.
• No prior job-related work experience.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience in medical/patient care environment.
