About The Position
The Mammography Technologist works under the direct supervision of the Radiology Director and reports to the Director and/or Assistant Director. The Mammography Technologist operates a variety of equipment for screening and diagnostic purposes in the detection of disease. The technologist upholds the mission and vision of Murray Calloway County Hospital and follows all hospital policies and departmental procedures.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program or equivalent.
- ARRT registered
- Must hold a radiation operator's license in the state of Kentucky.
- Current CPR.
Nice To Haves
- Two years post graduate Radiologic experience preferred in a hospital setting.
- Mammography certification from ARRT preferred.
