This includes maintaining quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. The technologist is responsible for regularly checking equipment and supplies, maintaining x-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order, performing preventative maintenance, and contacting outside services for major malfunctions. The position requires maintaining clean and orderly work areas, ordering necessary supplies, and enhancing professional growth through education and participation in meetings. Documentation of evaluation results, treatment plans, and progress reports is also required. The role supports the hospital's mission and values, participates in Performance Improvement Programs, attends mandatory in-service programs, and observes hospital dress code and conduct policies. Maintaining patient confidentiality is crucial.
