Radiology Technologist - Inpatient Rehab - Full Time
About The Position
Southern Kentucky Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture with Select Medical & Vibra, is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist in Bowling Green, KY. This role offers up to $37.00 per hour based on experience. Select Medical is committed to providing employees with a solid work-life balance. The Radiology Technologist, under the supervision of the CNO, is responsible for preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, explaining the process, and properly positioning them for scans. The technologist operates equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue.
Requirements
- Current and valid state licensure in Diagnostic Radiography required
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required
Nice To Haves
- At least 3 years experience in Medical Imaging field (not including school)
- Must be current with Continuing Education in all fields of licensure
- Experience operating facility-specific equipment desirable
Responsibilities
- Preparing the patient for diagnostic procedures
- Explaining the process of the scans to the patient
- Properly positioning the patient to capture the appropriate images
- Correctly operating equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient's bones, organs and tissue
