Under the direction of the Radiology Director and Manager, this role produces quality diagnostic medical radiographs, including OR, Flouro, Dexa, or EOS, to ensure proper diagnosis and quality patient care. The position involves producing quality images using appropriate exposure techniques, documenting patient history, performing OR/Surgery cases with C-arms and portable machines, and supervising/teaching Radiology students. The technologist must observe departmental policies, safety, environmental, and infection control standards, maintain a clean work area, practice radiation safety, and attend departmental in-services and meetings. They are also expected to perform other duties as assigned, practice age-appropriate care, and use the Hospital/Radiology Information system according to policy.
