Radiology Technologists perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. They document patient history, confirm patient identification, and prepare and administer contrast media as required. Technologists consult with radiologists and other physicians, select and operate equipment, and maintain appropriate records. This role requires proficiency in utilizing radiation safety practices to produce high-quality examinations under general supervision. The technologist will also coordinate daily activities, including performing examinations and clerical duties.
