Radiology Technologist (Temporary Full-Time)
About The Position
Trillium Health Partners is one of Canada’s largest community-based teaching hospitals, serving the growing and diverse populations of Mississauga, West Toronto, and surrounding communities. This position is for a Radiology Technologist - X-ray within the Diagnostic Imaging Program. The role is temporary full-time for approximately 18 months. The technologist must be able to work at all three sites as assigned and may be required to cross-train in other modalities. The position involves performing all types of radiography procedures, maintaining a safe working environment, participating in the evaluation of new equipment and procedures, collaborating with team members, and supporting a customer-focused environment.
Requirements
- Current C.M.R.I.T.O. & C.A.M.R.T. Registration, in good standing.
- Strong organizational skills combined with strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated excellent patient care skills with strong team approach attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Positive work and attendance record is essential.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience and expertise in all areas of General Radiography preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform all types of radiography procedures.
- Maintain a safe working environment for co-workers, patients and visitors.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new equipment and procedures as required.
- Collaborate with other diagnostic imaging team members to optimize use of available resources.
