The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients, including those with fractures, diseases, and anatomical abnormalities. This position is per diem, covering day and weekend shifts.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Certificate Radiologic Technology
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • BLS required

Nice To Haves

  • 2 Years Pediatric Orthopedics Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced.
  • Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury.
  • Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images.
  • Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel.
  • Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development.
  • Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events.
