About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Radiology Technologist for the Center for Advanced Medicine - Sunset Hills location. This role involves operating a c-arm for Orthopedic OR surgeries and procedures, performing portable imaging, managing dosimeters and lead, and participating in all OR turnovers. The new opening location is scheduled for November 2026. Training will take place at South County CAM and other outpatient facilities prior to the opening.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in related field
• Certification / Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
• Upcoming Radiology grads & students enrolled in a Radiology program, welcome to apply if graduating & will be registered in the next 4 months
• Associate or Trade School Equi
• No Experience
• No Experience (Supervisor Experience)
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• Radiology Technologist - Reg

Nice To Haves

• <2 years experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Responsibilities

• Operating c-arm for Orthopedic OR surgeries and procedures
• Portable imaging
• Manages dosimeters and lead
• Participates in all OR turnovers, pre/post room turnover
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
