About The Position

BJC HealthCare System is seeking a Full-Time Radiology Technologist for the General Diagnostics North Campus at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. This role involves performing general imaging radiographic procedures on adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. The position is located on the 2nd floor of the Schoenberg Diagnostic imaging at the North Campus.

Requirements

• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)
• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• Radiology Technologist - Reg

Nice To Haves

• CR/DR/Portables/C-Arm/OR experience preferred
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification
• <2 years experience

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Informs patient on instructions and what the procedure entails with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
• Performs radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on-call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
• Performs general CR/DR Imaging for Inpatients and Outpatients.
• Performs Portables imaging.
• Performs C-Arm OR imaging.
