About The Position

This position requires close attention to detail regarding procedures, technique, positioning, and contrast media side effects. The technologist must be able to work unsupervised and make quick decisions. The role involves lifting and transporting patients, lifting heavy film files (approximately 50 lbs), and moving mobile x-ray units. It also requires the ability to maneuver in close quarters and around equipment, with frequent or prolonged standing, sitting, stooping, and bending. Normal or corrected vision and hearing are necessary for assessing film quality and telephone communication.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Registered or registry eligible.
• Current CPR certification.
• Provide copies of licensure/certification for personnel records, including renewals.

Nice To Haves

• Associates Degree in applied sciences preferred.
