About The Position
The Radiological Technologist acts professionally, responds to patient needs, and supports colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The role uses radiology equipment and accessories, applies appropriate techniques and procedures, and performs services in accordance with accepted standards of practice. The technologist demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to patients, themselves, and other members of the healthcare team. The role applies theoretical knowledge and concepts, uses equipment and accessories for their intended purposes, and employs procedures and techniques appropriately.
Requirements
- Technical skills in general radiography and fluoroscopy
- Experience with Digital and Computed Radiographic (CR) systems
- Computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Patient care and assessment skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work independently
