Radiology Technologist - Urgent Care
About The Position
Under the general direction of the Practice Administrator/Manager and/or Provider, the Radiology Technologist performs a variety of duties involved in providing patient care in a clinical urgent care setting. The role provides radiologic care to patients for diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders and assists physicians as required. The position also performs specimen collection and processing, along with waived and moderate testing of patient specimens for diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assists physicians as required. The role is with Kadlec Regional Medical Center, part of Providence. Providence describes its culture as patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology program.
- Washington Radiologic Technologist credential upon hire.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Associate's degree from an accredited educational institution in Medical Imaging.
- One year of diagnostic imaging experience.
- One year of experience in laboratory testing and phlebotomy.
Responsibilities
