About The Position

Under supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Radiology Technologist performs accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. The technologist demonstrates sound clinical skills and produces high-quality images for interpretation, applies radiation-protection principles, and complies with applicable regulations. The role assumes responsibility for a designated area and provides clinical instruction as appropriate. The technologist follows Corewell Health’s Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy at all times.

This full-time position is based at Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital and works an evening shift, with 40 scheduled hours per week. Corewell Health is offering up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus for this opportunity.

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is a 632-bed teaching and research hospital serving Southeast Michigan since 1953. It is a Level II trauma center and a Joint Commission-accredited primary stroke center, with five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)-accredited Radiography program.
• Training gained at the student level.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration (ARRT) required within 180 days.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) (ARRT) required upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
