About The Position

Radiology Technologist at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is full time and will work 12-hour, Day shifts. Under the direction of the Department Director, supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, and in collaboration with the radiologists, performs advanced technical diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities utilizing age-specific criteria according to department standards. Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Is a technical and clinical role model for less experienced radiologic technologists in the department. Participates in call schedule to meet staffing needs of the department. Requirements

  • Graduate of a program in radiologic technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or Completion of a program in radiologic technology approved by the Radiologic Technology Certification Committee (RTCC) of the CA Radiologic Health Branch.
  • California Radiologic Technologist (Upon hire).
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Upon hire).
  • National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Upon hire).
