Radiology Technologist, Bend OR (Urgent Care) Full Time
About The Position
High Lakes Urgent Care is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for patients of all ages in an urgent care setting. This role offers a predictable, daytime schedule (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and a lower-stress environment compared to hospital settings. The position is ideal for an experienced technologist seeking work-life balance, a working parent or caregiver needing a stable schedule, a new ARRT graduate looking for a supportive environment, or a semi-retired professional wanting to stay active in the field. The work involves a variety of urgent care imaging cases without the intensity of a hospital trauma setting.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Satisfactory completion of ARRT certification examination with current license
- Current continuing education compliance per ARRT requirements
Nice To Haves
- Two years of radiology imaging experience preferred but not required. New grads are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Perform and position patients for X-ray examinations with skill and compassion.
- Deliver preliminary reports and quality images to physicians in a timely manner.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean imaging environment.
- Follow radiation protection protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Communicate openly with the care team and educate patients in plain language.
