Radiology Technologist, Bend OR (Urgent Care) Full Time
About The Position
High Lakes Urgent Care in Bend, Oregon is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist. This role is ideal for an experienced technologist seeking a predictable, daytime schedule that fits around their life, or a new ARRT graduate looking for a supportive, lower-acuity environment. The position involves performing diagnostic X-ray examinations for patients of all ages in an urgent care setting, working closely with providers to deliver results efficiently and with care. Unlike a hospital setting, this role does not involve trauma cases, complex on-call obligations, or a pace that follows you home. The compensation reflects the urgent care setting, which offers a lower stress and better schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Satisfactory completion of ARRT certification examination with current license
- Current continuing education compliance per ARRT requirements
Nice To Haves
- Two years of radiology imaging experience preferred but not required. New grads are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Perform and position patients for X-ray examinations with skill and compassion.
- Deliver preliminary reports and quality images to physicians in a timely manner.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe, clean imaging environment.
- Follow radiation protection protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Communicate openly with the care team and educate patients in plain language.
