About The Position

Glendive Medical Center is looking for a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. This role is ideal for imaging professionals seeking schedule flexibility while staying active in a hospital environment that serves a diverse patient population. You'll play an important role in helping providers diagnose and treat patients by delivering accurate, high-quality imaging services in a safe and patient-focused setting.

Requirements

ARRT certification
Montana Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
Current BLS certification
Strong understanding of radiographic positioning and anatomy
Ability to work independently and prioritize patient needs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Attention to detail and commitment to image quality
Ability to respond to on-call assignments within required timeframes

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting
Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records

Responsibilities

Perform routine radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and answer questions about the exam process
Position patients appropriately to obtain diagnostic-quality images
Operate imaging equipment according to department protocols
Follow radiation safety practices and infection prevention standards
Administer contrast agents when required and within scope of practice
Upload, verify, and maintain images within PACS
Assist radiologists and providers during imaging procedures as needed
Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance concerns
Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental goals
