About The Position

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and high-quality care. This role requires versatility within the radiology department, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.

Requirements

ARRT certification required
Active Ohio Radiologic License required
BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association required
Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
Minimum of 2 years of radiology experience required
Strong knowledge of radiologic imaging techniques and safety protocols
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities

Responsibilities

Perform radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians
Ensure proper radiation safety practices for patients and staff
Operate and maintain radiology equipment, reporting issues promptly
Assist with scheduling and coordination of imaging procedures
Utilize transport systems to facilitate patient movement
Access and manage patient records within computer systems
Collaborate with clinical staff and other departments professionally
Support on-call operations and assist with staffing needs as required
Communicate equipment or operational issues to leadership and clinical engineering
Assist in training and supporting Radiologic Technology students
