About The Position
Helen Newberry Joy Hospital & Healthcare Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform a variety of imaging procedures, including diagnostic radiology and CT. The role is based in Newberry, Michigan, at an independent health system that emphasizes compassionate patient care, customer service, quality, respect, and teamwork. The position is call-in/per diem.
Requirements
- ARRT certification.
- Current BLS.
- Basic computer and office skills.
- Demonstrated competency in required skills.
- Ability to understand and implement patient rights.
- Ability to interact courteously, diplomatically, and tactfully.
Nice To Haves
- CT certification; the employer is willing to train.
- PACS experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiology and CT imaging procedures.
- Follow patient safety protocols.
- Educate patients about examinations and preparation requirements.
- Understand and implement patient rights.
- Interact with others courteously, diplomatically, and tactfully.
