About The Position

This role involves positioning patients and setting technical parameters for capturing high-quality, diagnostic images. The technologist will safely and accurately prepare and administer contrast media and other medications, adhering to all state and federal regulations. A key responsibility is the prompt and accurate submission of all high-quality images and required documentation, including patient data. Additionally, the technologist will maintain equipment functionality, promptly reporting and addressing any malfunctions with appropriate lock/tag out procedures.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

Ensure prompt, accurate submission of all high-quality images and required documentation (including patient data).
Maintain equipment functionality, promptly reporting and addressing malfunctions with appropriate lock/tag out procedures.
