About The Position

Provides patient services using imaging modalities including radiography. Preferred experience with CT; willing to cross train. Administers roentgen rays and radioactive substances to patients; operates X-ray equipment; processes images; prepares examination room, equipment, supplies, and medications.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and additional training in Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and CT as necessary.
  • Must be ARRT registered.
  • Cross training to other modalities.
  • Physical stamina requisite to move and manipulate the equipment used in the several modalities.
  • Physical stamina requisite to standing, walking, stooping, pulling, pushing, pulling, reaching, and lifting while transporting patients and in the examination room.
  • Visual, auditory and speech acuity requisite to verbal and written communication with patients, families, physicians and other persons involved with the patient's care.
