About The Position

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Radiology Technologist for their ICC clinic. This part-time role is ideal for someone passionate about radiology and providing excellent customer service. The technologist will be responsible for performing X-rays, rooming patients, drawing labs, and assisting with other clinical tasks. The clinic offers a fun, friendly staff, a new building, and opportunities for growth. Requirements

  • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in radiology.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification within one year of hire or transfer date.
  • Currently licensed in the state of Nebraska.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (AHA) upon completion of unit orientation.
  • If required to administer medications, current Medication Aid Registry listing or completed within first 30 days of hire or transfer date, and maintained thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in diagnostic radiology procedures.
  • Experience in a physician's office.
  • Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
  • Ability to manage and interact with patients and families of all age groups.
  • Experience with multi-dimensional medical imaging systems, patient transportation devices, and radiology information system and Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS).
  • Medical assistant certification.

Responsibilities

  • Complete ordered x-rays within the clinic.
  • Room patients.
  • Draw labs.
  • Assist with procedures.
  • Perform Point of Testing.
  • Complete other clinical tasks as assigned.
  • Provide expert diagnostic radiological imaging and patient care.
  • Promote efficient operation of the clinic.
  • Provide assistance to physicians and support staff.
