About The Position
Fort Norfolk is hiring for a Part-time Rad Tech for Pain Management. This role involves conducting general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients under the direction of a qualified physician. Responsibilities include patient positioning, operating radiation-producing equipment, managing electronic radiology systems, preparing patient rooms and equipment, and maintaining supply inventory. The technologist will also explain procedures to patients and complete departmental documentation. Experience with Fluoroscopy and Pain Management is preferred.
Requirements
- Associates Degree Radiologic Sciences OR Trade School Certificate
- ARRT
- Grandfathered staff at time of merger with military radiologic technologist training will be accepted in lieu of ARRT registry.

Responsibilities
- Conducts general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician.
- Positions patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology.
- Operates radiation producing equipment.
- Operates electronic radiology systems.
- Prepares patient room/equipment/medications.
- Maintains adequate supply inventory.
- Explains examination and procedure to patients.
- Completes departmental documentation.
- Performs Radiology Tech II responsibilities with addition of one of the following: interventional, dental or OR.
