About The Position

This role involves administering x-rays to patients, preparing the x-ray room, equipment, and supplies. The technologist will also perform quality control on x-ray equipment monthly and act within the scope of a Medical Assistant as needed to assist with clinic throughput. All pertinent documentation must be completed within Centricity EMR & GE PACS.

Requirements

• Certified by and registered in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current certification/registration as a credentialed Medical Assistant.
• AHA BLS for healthcare providers within 30 days.
• Clinic competency assessment annually by transcript due date.

Responsibilities

• Administers x-rays to patients.
• Prepares x-ray room, equipment and supplies.
• Performs quality control on x-ray equipment monthly.
• Acts within the scope as an MA as necessary to assist with throughput of the clinics.
• Completes all pertinent documentation within Centricity EMR & GE PACS.
