About The Position
This position involves leading Radiology Technologists in a high-volume, fast-paced Diagnostic Imaging section. The role includes monitoring and assisting with technical operations, taking direct control of assigned areas, overseeing workflow coordination, and ensuring proper scheduling for smooth exam processes. The Lead Technologist will also schedule in-patient exams, assist with staff training, address equipment and safety concerns, and collaborate with other departments. Performing radiographic procedures to high standards is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
- Oregon Radiographer License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.

- 2 years of Diagnostic Imaging experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assist with the direction of technical operations in a high-volume and fast-paced Radiology section of Diagnostic Imaging.
- Assume direct control of specific areas within Radiology as assigned.
- Oversee workflow coordination and monitor the daily radiology department schedule to ensure proper tech and patient scheduling for smooth exam workflow.
- Schedule in-patient exams in a timely fashion to meet patient needs.
- Assist with staff training, address equipment and safety concerns, and coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments within the facility.
- Perform radiographic procedures as needed to the high standards of the facility.
