Lead Radiology Technologist
About The Position
The Lead Radiology Technologist monitors and assists with direction of technical operation of a high volume and fast paced Radiology section of Diagnostic Imaging; assumes direct control of specific areas within Radiology as assigned; oversees workflow coordination and monitors daily radiology department schedule to assure proper tech and patient scheduling for smooth exam workflow. Schedules in-patient exams in a timely fashion to meet patient needs; assists with staff training, addressing equipment and safety concerns, coordinating and collaborating with multiple departments within the facility; performs radiographic procedures as needed to the high standards of the facility. Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
- Oregon Radiographer License Upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon hire
