About The Position
The Radiology Technologist I performs radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, cares for patients, and assists the physician in the administration of radiopaque media in the performance of routine or special procedures. This position administers non-radioactive contrast.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligible.
- Must have current BLS certification.
- Must have current Virginia Board of Health Professions license.
- Must have current ARRT certification.
- Must have current BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Performs radiographic procedures using ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
