About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist (CT/XR) for a 13-week travel assignment in Juneau, AK 99801. The Radiologic Technologist must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients’ service on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit’s/area/department’s policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must have 1 year experience
  • Must provide radiographic examination of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Must exercise professional judgement in performance of procedures applying principles of radiation protection.
  • Should be able to work well in situations of stress.
  • Must rotate shifts as required.
  • Must be willing to able to take call and report to work within 20 minutes.
  • Must have ARRT (CT, XR) certifications
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Effective team skills including interaction, support, and respect are required.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
  • Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
  • Flu vaccine required.
  • Drug screen and background check (facility required)
  • Additional facility onboarding forms as assigned

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic medical radiography within department and other areas.
  • Maintain patient records and files.
  • Assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance program.
  • Pursue continuing education.
  • Transfer patient to and from radiology.
  • Perform ancillary duties as requested by supervisor.
  • Follow policies and procedures as set up by SEARHC Administration.
  • Assist in general hygiene of department and self.
