About The Position
As the Radiology Technologist, you will perform routine and urgent radiographic examinations. You will report to department leadership. This is a part-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an ARRT approved Radiologic program within six months of employment.
- Obtain ARRT certification in radiologic technology within six months post completion of an approved radiology program.
- Basic knowledge of radiology procedures
Responsibilities
- Perform necessary immobilization, positioning, and technique selection to produce quality diagnostic radiographs.
- Prepare room, equipment, and materials for patient examinations.
- Supervise daily clinical performance and training of radiological students and new radiologic technologists.
- Ensure the safety of patients by observing the equipment during procedures and report any unusual occurrences.
- Consult with reading radiologist or ordering provider regarding radiographic examinations.
- Help log critical findings when appropriate.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
