About The Position

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking a Mobile Radiologic Technologist to support our growing centers in Manchester, Glastonbury, and Enfield, Connecticut. This unique opportunity allows you to work across multiple locations, collaborate with diverse clinical teams, and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care throughout Hartford County. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Current ARRT certification required
• State licensure in Radiography required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple clinical teams
• Dependable, adaptable, and highly organized
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-rays ordered by providers to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Follow all radiation safety standards and imaging protocols.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot radiology equipment as appropriate.
• Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Support patient flow and contribute to an efficient clinical environment.
• Ensure patient comfort by clearly explaining imaging procedures and answering questions.
• Provide imaging coverage across multiple designated urgent care locations.
• Travel between assigned centers as scheduled to support operational needs.
• Partner with providers and clinical teams using Microsoft Teams and other communication tools to ensure seamless coordination of care.
• Deliver professional, compassionate care during every patient interaction.
