Southeast Orthopedic Specialists is seeking a Radiologic Technician (BMO) to join their Southside clinic. Requirements

High school diploma/GED required.
BMO certification (required).
BLS certification.
State licensure.
1+ year in urgent care or patient care setting preferred.
EMR knowledge helpful.
Knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic imaging practices, anatomy, radiographic safety, and equipment handling.
Strong customer service skills.
Attention to detail.
Communication skills.
Analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

Greet patients professionally and explain procedures clearly.
Produce high-quality radiographs for accurate diagnoses.
Maintain and update patient EMRs and provide image copies upon request.
Ensure correct image uploading into PACS.
Perform equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance; arrange repairs.
Monitor radiation safety for patients and staff.
Maintain radiology supply levels and follow departmental safety protocols.
Deliver safe and efficient diagnostic imaging services.
Follow infection-control, OSHA, and departmental policies.
Assist with patient positioning and transfers for optimal images.
Support clinic operations by balancing quality standards and patient care needs.
Handle high-stress situations requiring quick, accurate decisions.
Travel intermittently between clinic locations as needed.
