Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • BMO certification (required).
  • BLS certification.
  • State licensure.
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • Diagnostic imaging practices knowledge.
  • Anatomy knowledge.
  • Radiographic safety knowledge.
  • Equipment handling knowledge.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Communication skills.
  • Analytical abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year in urgent care or patient care setting preferred.
  • EMR knowledge helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients in a professional, friendly manner and explain procedures clearly.
  • Produce high-quality radiographs to support accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain and update patient EMRs; provide copies of images upon request.
  • Ensure images are correctly uploaded into PACS.
  • Perform equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance; arrange repairs when needed.
  • Monitor radiation safety, protecting patients and staff at all times.
  • Maintain proper levels of radiology supplies and follow departmental safety protocols.
  • Deliver safe, efficient diagnostic imaging services.
  • Follow infection-control, OSHA, and departmental policies to maintain a safe environment.
  • Assist with patient positioning and transfers to capture optimal images.
  • Support smooth clinic operations by balancing quality standards with patient care needs.
  • Handle occasional high-stress situations requiring quick, accurate decisions.
  • Travel intermittently between clinic locations, as needed.
