A Radiology Technician performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. This role involves reviewing patient history and physician's orders, educating patients about procedures, and preparing and administering contrast media and/or medications when ordered. The technician will monitor patient condition, prepare equipment and supplies, select appropriate exposure factors, and implement safety and quality control procedures. They will also troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, position patients, perform imaging procedures, analyze results, address image quality issues, and report scan results.
