About The Position

National Park Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiology Technician to deliver high-quality imaging services and exceptional patient care. This PRN position is for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys making a meaningful impact across all patient age groups. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, preparing and administering contrast media, monitoring patient conditions, operating and maintaining imaging equipment, and documenting results. The technician will also support departmental workflow, participate in ongoing education, and float to OR, CT, and X-ray as needed.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiology program
Current state Radiation Operator Certificate
ARRT registration in Radiology
BCLS certification
Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety
Ability to work flexible shifts, if needed and handle physical demands of the role

OR experience, preferred (will train)

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures following established standards and safety protocols
Review patient history, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and cooperation
Prepare and administer contrast media/medications within scope
Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot imaging equipment
Evaluate image quality and repeat studies when needed
Accurately document and transmit imaging results
Support departmental workflow and participate in ongoing education
Float to OR, CT and X-ray
