About The Position

Harborview Medical Center – Radiology has an outstanding opportunity for a RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST, CT. This role involves performing skilled radiographic procedures that assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients. The position also includes providing appropriate education to patients and their families prior to and post Radiology procedure, and participating in Department QA and QC functions. The department offers advanced diagnostic imaging and specialized clinical expertise, including nuclear medicine and interventional radiology (angiography).

Requirements

Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist
Satisfactory completion of formal technology training in an AMA approved school, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

Perform skilled radiographic procedures that assist in the diagnosis or treatment of patients.
Provide the appropriate education to patients and their families prior to and post Radiology procedure.
Participate in the Department QA and QC functions by assisting in the collection of data, and making recommendations as to problems and possible solutions and assist in the orientation of new staff, technologist, researchers, and students.
