Radiology Tech
About The Position
The Radiology Tech works in the Imaging Department at Prime Healthcare- Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. The role performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable regulatory requirements, serves as the first-line interface with customers to meet their imaging needs, participates in performance improvement and quality control activities, and processes and transmits images to PACS. This is a full-time day position scheduled for either 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. or 12:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m. Compensation is listed as $26.35–$38.17. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process.
Requirements
- Licensure and a fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
- ARRT-R certification.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- Current BCLS certification from the AHA.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and HFAP, TJC, local regulatory, CMS, state, and federal requirements.
- Serve as the first-line interface with customers and help accomplish their imaging needs.
- Participate in performance improvement and quality control activities.
- Process and transmit images to PACS.
