About The Position

Under minimal supervision, the Radiology Tech performs basic to complex diagnostic radiographic procedures requested by a licensed physician. The role applies professional judgment and x-ray energy to provide health care services that assist in diagnosing or treating patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. The employee completes the position’s established competencies within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned.

The role produces diagnostic radiographs and rotates through advanced areas of diagnostic radiology, including the operating room, urography, open reductions, myelography, arthrography, placements, and trauma. The Radiology Tech also assists practitioners with fluoroscopy, arthrography, operating-room procedures, and trauma.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program.
• ARRT certification or registry eligibility; must obtain ARRT within one year after graduation.
• BLS certification.
• State license, if required.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities
