About The Position
A registered professional technologist assigned responsibilities of performing diagnostic radiologic services for hospital patients as well as out-patients sent from the clinics or physicians' offices. This position offers a weekend package with on-call duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Radiologic Technology School.
- ARRT board certification or eligibility to sit for boards.
- Iowa Permit to Practice.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility in scheduling.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good vision.
- Good verbal skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- Ability to cope with a variety of situations.
Nice To Haves
- CT experience
- Mammography experience
Responsibilities
- Performing diagnostic radiologic services for hospital patients.
- Performing diagnostic radiologic services for out-patients sent from clinics or physicians' offices.
- Working on-call weekends.
- Staying within 30 minutes of the facility during call weekends.
- Performing continuous lifting (over 60 pounds) such as helping patients on the x-ray table.
