About The Position

Harrison County Hospital is seeking to hire a registered Radiologic Technologist. The Radiologic Technologist interprets physician's requests. Performs Radiographic exams and other duties related to the production of quality radiographic images. Conducts exams in a manner conducive to the patient's safety and comfort. Competent with all age groups. Supports and assumes a role in the Diagnostic Imaging and Hospital customer service program. May be required to train into additional imaging modalities. May be assigned other duties or shifts as deemed necessary to enhance the departmental functions. Renders quality patient care in accordance with the philosophy, mission, objectives, and policies of Harrison County Hospital. Provides services to all age groups. Willing to work any part of a 24 hour shift to enhance departmental functions. Reasonable care taken when caring for patients with the knowledge that mistakes may have serious consequences for the patient.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist or Certified by the Indiana State Board of Health as a Radiographer.
