About The Position
The Radiology Tech I performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and applicable HFAP, TJC, local, state, and federal regulations, including CMS requirements. The role serves as a first-line interface with customers and helps meet their imaging needs. The technologist participates in PI/QC activities and is responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS. This is a full-time, day-shift position in the Imaging department at Prime Healthcare–St Joseph Joliet, located at 333 Madison St, Joliet, Illinois.
Requirements
- Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by the state.
- ARRT-R certification is required.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
- Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
