About The Position

Join our team as a Radiologic Technologist and support patient care across a dynamic network of outpatient clinics. This part-time position offers the opportunity to gain experience across multiple clinic settings and may include mileage reimbursement for travel. The role requires providing availability for at least 3 full days per week, including at least 6 weekend shifts per 8-week schedule block, with full-shift coverage required. Caregivers are expected to remain in role for 6 months prior to transferring within Intermountain. The orientation/training period is approximately 2 months.

Requirements

  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) certification
  • Radiologic technologist license in state of practice
  • Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Provide availability for at least 3 full days per week including at least 6 weekend shifts (Saturday & /or Sundays) per 8-week schedule block.
  • Full-shift availability required (partial shifts are not accommodated)
  • Caregivers are expected to remain in role for 6 months prior to transferring within Intermountain.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years radiology experience
  • IV Certification

Responsibilities

  • Support patient care across a dynamic network of outpatient clinics.
  • Provide availability for at least 3 full days per week including at least 6 weekend shifts (Saturday & /or Sundays) per 8-week schedule block.
  • Provide full-shift coverage.
  • Travel required throughout Utah County, Park City, and Heber.
  • Occasional coverage at rural clinic locations.
  • May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform the function of an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting.
  • See and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
  • Verbally communicate with patient care providers, patients, and visitors.
  • Hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
  • Manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.
  • Document patient care, access needed information, and prepare medications using a computer.
  • Lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients.
  • Bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment.
  • Walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment.
  • Push/pull gurneys and portable equipment.
  • Navigate crowded and busy rooms.
  • Stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time.
