About The Position

HSHS St. Vincent and St. Mary's Hospitals are seeking a CT/Radiologic Tech Assistant to join our team. Ideal candidates are those that are mission driven and patient focused and are passionate about working in healthcare, specially within the CT department. This role is part-time, with day shifts, 8-hour shifts between 8 am and 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. No holidays or weekends are required. The compensation is aligned with your experience.

Requirements

• Must possess good communication and human relation skills.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Current college student or associates degree is preferred.
• Clinical experience and a basic understanding of medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Integrates the hospital’s mission and vision into daily tasks through dedication to customer satisfaction, quality improvement and collaborative working relationships.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills in providing age appropriate care to those patients defined in the service’s plan for providing care.
• Demonstrates respect for patient confidentiality and uses complete discretion with patient information.
• Never discusses a diagnosis with the patient or others.
