About The Position

This is a full-time position with the following schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 11:00 am - 9:00 pm. The pay range is $15.00 - $17.00 per hour. The role involves supporting radiology operations by communicating with doctors, notifying customers of delays, monitoring report delivery, relaying critical findings, resolving customer issues, maintaining confidentiality, updating training materials, and managing staffing schedules. The position also includes training and supervising other support specialists, assisting with reviews, and communicating with the IT department.

  • Communicate with the IT department regarding the status of the systems and development and testing of new programming.

Responsibilities

  • Contact doctors via email and phone to read cases as needed.
  • Notify customers when cases are delayed with estimated completion time if known.
  • Monitor the delivery of x-ray reports delivered via fax.
  • Relay verbal x-ray results on critical findings to the ordering facility and/or physician.
  • Document, research, and resolve customer issues using the computer system.
  • Uphold client and patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain training manuals and disseminate new policies or procedures or changes to same.
