About The Position

This position supervises the daily operations of Diagnostic Radiology and the File/Scan Room. The role involves taking radiographs and performing routine fluoroscopic exams. The supervisor serves as a point of contact for staff, physicians, and management. Requirements

4 years radiology experience
Associate's degree
ARRT required
RTL required
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification (ARRT)
Radiologic Technologist License (RTL) - Arkansas Department of Health

Prior Lead experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Oversees routine equipment maintenance, quality assurance tests, and reports unscheduled down time to manager.
Utilizes technical expertise to aid in planning process for capital equipment and minor equipment acquisitions and supplies.
Assists in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and evaluating staff.
Oversees quality control activities and performance improvement projects in work area.
Ensures correct patient, diagnosis and exam and demonstrating proper positioning and use of radiographic equipment.
Addresses image quality issues.
Manages day-to-day patient flow and delegates work to technologists and/or imaging assistants.
Demonstrates proper patient screening, adequately explains exam/procedures, and encourages at least one family member to be present during exams.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
