About The Position
INTEGRIS Health Edmond Hospital is seeking a Radiology Student Tech to work PRN with their Diagnostic Radiology team. This role involves performing radiographic procedures under indirect supervision, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to National Patient Safety Goals. The position requires age-related competencies and all other assigned job duties. INTEGRIS Health is committed to providing exceptional care and fostering healthier lives.
Requirements
- Two semesters of school experience from an accredited Radiology program, verified with the program director.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association OR CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written).
Responsibilities
- Operates and monitors radiographic equipment for proper functioning and reports malfunctions.
- Uses safety devices to ensure maximum radiation safety.
- Performs computer and clerical functions related to radiology requests.
- Stocks and maintains orderliness in radiographic exam rooms.
- Utilizes appropriate nursing procedure techniques for patient care and safety within the radiology department.
- Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals.
- Provides excellent customer service.
