About The Position
This is a contract position for a Radiology Specialist Assistant in Watertown, NY. The role is for 13 weeks with a 40-hour work week, operating on an 8 am to 4:30 pm shift. A stipend package is available to help maximize take-home pay.
Requirements
- Must be within a 100-mile radius of permanent address.
- Graduate of an approved course of study acceptable to the New York State Education Department.
- Bachelor's degree required in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Certification as a Radiologist Assistant (RA) or Physician Assistant (PA) with radiology focus is preferred.
- Additional certifications in CT, Ultrasound, or Interventional Radiology (e.g., RRA - Registered Radiologist Assistant) are highly desirable.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
