About The Position

The Radiology Scheduling Supervisor is responsible for identifying and assigning workload to appropriate staff across a variety of administrative support functions within Diagnostic Imaging relating to registration, appointment scheduling, report and image management and distribution services. You will lead daily scheduling activities across all Diagnostic Imaging modalities. Our Scheduling Supervisors own root cause analysis and identify barriers. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of all improvement work in support of aligning scheduling with referral source expectations and clinical team capacity. Our Radiology Scheduling Supervisors are responsible for scheduling of Diagnostic Imaging procedures according to department protocols. You will be responsible for procedural screenings, collecting, documenting and obtaining complete and accurate patient medical history necessary to ensure appropriateness and safety for all procedures. The Scheduling Supervisor schedules and coordinates invasive and complex patient procedures according to department protocols. Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years experience in health care scheduling
  • Experience with PACS and digital technology
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and project management

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor's preferred
  • Experience in a supervisor capacity preferred
