Allen Hospital is a 204-bed community hospital serving the Cedar Valley and is the busiest hospital in the area. We care for more inpatients, outpatients, emergency, and cardiac patients than any other hospital in our 10-county service area. Our outpatient facilities, United Medical Park and Prairie Parkway, provide accessible care across multiple locations. We offer 3 critical access hospitals and multiple outpatient clinics, a stable, well-established group of radiologists, state-of-the-art equipment with highly trained technical staff, supportive administration and full IT system support. Allen Hospital is a Designated Trauma and Primary Stroke Center with fully integrated clinic and hospital systems: EPIC EMR, Radiant, and integrated PACS for improved care coordination.

Requirements

• ABR/AOBR Certified or Eligible radiologist with fellowship training and/or clinical
• Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice

Responsibilities

• Readings limited to emergency and inpatient exams (CT, X-ray, ultrasound, occasionally MRI)
